Dr Basit Khan has extensive experience of practicing medicine since 2001. He  started working in Queensland health in 2009 and has worked in various department of public hospitals in Australia which include working in Emergency department/ Intensive care /Gynaecology/ Obstetrics , General Medicine / Anaesthesia . He joined General Medical practice in 2012 and did his Fellowship of Royal Australian college of General Practice in 2016. With his Special Interest in pain management he did Fellow ship in Australian medical Acupuncture college in 2017.
Dr Basit Khan has extensive experience in managing chronic diseases and preventative health Medicine .His special interest includes pain management using Traditional Chinese Acupuncture/ Laser Acupuncture/ Photobiomodulation therapy.
